Watching the snow fall over an empty field from the warmth of your own house...

Taking off my bra at the end of the day

Taking off shoes and putting heated feet on a cold floor after having a long day.

When my favorite song comes on the radio

The way my dog looks at me when I say his name

Aloe Vera on sun burnt skin.

When the sun comes out from behind a cloud, and it feels like it's just for me.

The first bite of cold watermelon on a hot day.

A stranger returning my smile on the street.

It is Sunday and the next day is a Holiday and you get another day off work!!

An unprompted hug and kiss from my 3 year old.

cold winter air coming in on my dog's fur

Going slightly out of my way to step on a crunchy-looking leaf.

The crunching sound of the gravel when my partner's car pulls up on the drive.

The first bite out of a crisp apple.

Whenever I go out into the countryside at night the sky seems so much.. bigger. A starry night really is one of life's greatest gifts

Waking up in the morning and realizing it's Saturday and I don't need to get up just yet.

The purring of my cat sleeping on my chest.

It's like a little reward when someone responds to my post on Facebook.

Welcome!

This blog is brand spankin' new and is only in its soft launch stage. The whole premise of this blog is appreciating the little things in life that often go unnoticed. We are in need of more submissions so if you have a "little thing" that you would like to share it's super easy to do so. Simply click the link above the blog's title and it will take you to a form where you can type in your submission and click submit. It's really that easy.

Once we get a good number of submissions we will "officially" launch the blog. That shouldn't take more than a day or two at the rate we are currently receiving submissions.

Thanks everyone.

The small thrill of riding down a hill on my bike.

Getting into a bed made with clean sheets, just after shaving my legs.

My wife's smile.

Flipping the pillow over to get to the cold side.

The first cut into a fresh piece of construction paper.

A warm bed in a slightly chilly room.

The quiet comfort of rain against the window.
